But what about Fiorella’s Kansas City event space?īefore you get an appetite for burnt ends, it should be mentioned: This isn’t about barbecue at all. With five flagship restaurants throughout the metro, a mouth-watering menu, and a huge fan-following of loyal barbecue connoisseurs, Jack Stack Barbecue is a local favorite. We ordered the brownie dessert to enjoy later (it also took a long time to be brought out).Whether you’re a Kansas City native or a newcomer to the City of Fountains, one thing is certain: You’ve heard of Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue. The lemonade was refreshing but we already had our meal by the time it was served. It would have been helpful for someone to be refilling water more quickly the server was obviously very busy/rushed. We definitely spent more than we usually do but have lots of leftovers. If we hadn't had the appetizers and they weren't so busy, I would have sent it back. Instead of sending it back I just ate some of the edge and will enjoy the leftovers. I ordered the steak medium rare but it was still cool and purple inside. Our party had a variety of menu items including several meat dishes (the stars of the meal), cheesy potato bake (rich and delicious), full-flavored baked beans, broccoli that's always cooked to perfection, and a KC strip (seemed over-priced). Appetizers were good the onion rings were especially light and crispy. They were out of the mushrooms, my favorites, so that was disappointing (but I didn't go hungry). We were celebrating a special occasion and ordered three appetizers (hot wings, shrimp, and onion rings). It's covered for shade and has both heaters and fans for any weather. ![]() We waited only about 15 minutes for a patio table. Crazy-busy on a Thursday evening! People were packed inside and more kept coming in. ![]()
